Your Tasks

As part of the Global Derma & Health Care Supply Chain Team, the project engineer role ensures new product equipment implementation for innovation and Supply Chain projects and is the Health Care expert for our production technologies (e.g. coating, extruding, converting, slitting, packaging). Furthermore, the project engineer initiates equipment investments for at our production centers and Third Party Manufacturers acting as a link between headquarter functions and our supply units. 

 

Main responsibilities:
 

  • Accountability for development, Scale-up and implementation of new production processes in our global supply units as well as hand-over to Operations.
  • Set-up and maintenance of international documentation for our processes (Production Trial documentation, Working instruction, Production Process Risk Assessment, Qualification and Validation, SOPs)
  • Technical auditing and support of Third Party Manufacturers in tirlas, validation and production, as well as performing risk assessments according to medical device regulation/ ICH.
  • Scouting of new Third Party Manufacturers in regards of their technical capabilities.
  • Leading of investment projects (e.g., capacity extension or exchange) 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (e.g. Medical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar)
  • 5 years of profound experience in Engineering / Supply Chain or R&D preferably in medical devices, pharmaceutical products or FMCG
  • Experience in Technical Project Management
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Strategic and ambitious international mindset
  • High communication skills and ability to cooperate in cross-functional teams
  • Experience in Healthcare and GDP / GMP regulations is a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken English, add. language is a plus
