Your Tasks

Role Purpose
Steer assigned NIVEA Brand categories for MU ASEAN countries on topline, profitability, and marketing investments. Perform marketing controlling activities i.e. forecast, planning, analysing, create standardization and digitalization across MU ASEAN with regards to processes, templates, reports and dashboards used for business partnering with marketing teams.
Responsibilities
Business partnering
•    Act as the key business partner for CU and MU Marketing team on assigned NIVEA categories.
•    Steer the financial performance along with defined KPIs. 
•    Work jointly with CU and MU Marketing team for Innovation business case (IBC) and other MKT related processes
•    Collaborate closely with Sales Controllers on the key finance processes, S&OP and Business Review Meeting
Marketing Controlling
•    Steer NIVEA Category SOI (GS-MII) as well as gap analysis YTD vs. Plan/Forecast and LY
•    Prepare monthly category business reviews (NS – Net Sale, GM – Gross Margin, SAMD – Sales Analysis Margin Driver) with focus on YTD & YTG performance vs Forecast. 
•    Performance category analysis to identify risks and opportunities
•    Ensure data quality in BASE and use BASE as a single source of Marketing budget (MB) steering
•    Conduct Monthly Marketing Budget (MB) review to understand risks and chances and ensure we are on track with budget spend by using BASE. 
•    Drive MB efficiency, perform ROI analysis of activities
•    Support Innovation Business case (IBC) validation incl financial hurdles
•    Conduct Launch tracking and SOI for innovations to identify gaps and opportunities
•    Perform planning activities e.g., Key initiative (NS, GM, MB) alignments, TM1 data submission and others required by planning instruction 
•    Perform closing activities e.g., monthly /quarterly/yearly accruals & provisions, consumption & release tracking for Marketing Budgeting spends. 
•    Create / implement standardization and digitalization with regards to processes, templates, reports and dashboards
•    Perform RCM (internal control) under assigned category (P-18: Media buying/ P-19: Media Invoicing)
Budgeting and forecasting
•    Communicate guidance / requirements on each planning and FC with MU/CU MKT team
•    Provide the recommendation on MB spends / instruct proper investment in assigned categories to ensure that the MB planned is in line with Company’s strategy
•    Ensure the data quality in BASE e.g. cost element, cost center and internal orders, and use it as a bottom-up for MB planning / submission
•    Input all submissions related to MKT e.g., Market share, Key initiative (NS, GM, MB), RL, MB or any others required in the system (TM1)
•    Understand building blocks behind market share projections done by CU/MU ASEAN Marketing team and corelate with innovation and exit data on assigned categories.
•    Conduct quality Check on MediaX submission

Your Profile

•    Bachelor (CPA/Master is a preference) degree in accounting/finance, business, or management preferred
•    3-4 years’ work experience, ideally within an FMCG Company
•    Strategic thinking and strong data analysis ability, able to read through financial trend and market data – being able to translate data into recommendations
•    Willingness to go the extra mile – ambitious winning mindset, yet humble
•    Entrepreneurial spirit, open-minded, passionate about teamwork/winning together 
•    Strong communication and presentation skills
•    Comfortable in engaging with senior stakeholders, including directors
•    Fluent in English, Strong knowledge in XLS, PPT, SAP
•    Knowledge in Power BI is a plus
