Your Tasks

Lead Financial Planning & Analysis activities to support Sales strategic priorities and customer plan. Incentivize business growth through analysis, insights and recommendations providing to the business.

Business Partnering

  • Be a sparring partner for Sales Director Thailand and Function Heads, to proactively provide guidance and insights related to major financial issues that may impact the performance in the future.
  • Identify white spots entry including other new business opportunities and support the business to prepare business case and investment feasibility.
  • Ensure that all business decisions are made, and business activities/operations executed under full consideration of all financial implications.
  • Proactively advise business if any opportunity to reinvest or revisit customer plans and marketing budget.
  • Upskill the Sales Controllers to ensure Sales Director and function heads are supported and challenged on sales investment.

Sales Controlling

  • Lead and ensure Sales controlling activities will be delivered on time in full.
  • Provide guidance for customer planning by channel, monitor profitability and trade stock if any deviations to ensure the delivery of the results.
  • Conduct monthly review and total Sales overview to understand risks and chances and ensure we are on track with budget spends. Drive efficiency, support ROI analysis of activities
  • Provide necessary financial reports and analyses to support business cases for investing and promoting NIVEA & Eucerin sales and brand profitability (Promotion ROI and Customer Marketing spending)
  • Take part in monthly business reviews with focus on YTD performance and YTG vs forecast to identify risks and opportunities
  • Align on category / channel performance and outlook with Sales Leadership team to ensure total business reaches its plan.
  • Steer and influence Trade Term Condition (TTC) forecasting. 
  • Review and revisit sales / BA / PC incentive scheme ensuring it motivates and supports sales volumes generation. 
  • Ensure internal Sales Policies / Internal Control policies are up to date and followed at all levels.
  • Support all internal and external audit related activities and follow through actions upon recommendations
  • Create standardization and digitalization with regards to processes, templates, reports and dashboards used for business partnering with Sales team. 
  • Drive projects related to Sales controlling.

Forecast and budgeting

  • Own, steer and provide instructions for all planning, forecasting and reporting processes from brand category and channel point of view as well as planning of NGS to GM in close alignment with Sales leadership team
  • Pioneer standardization for planning template.
  • Define relevant KPIs with Sales Leadership team, establish standards for overall Sales standardized report
  • Review the margin reports during every forecast period and highlight anomalies or risks on profitability, lack of the right investment model or wrong reporting
  • Support calculation of impact of price increases on Gross Margin.
  • Sales & margin driver planning, review and comment on variances.

Team Management

  • Manage overall performance of Sales Controlling team. Address performance issues if any.
  • Provide support to team member on performance and development.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master or CPA is a plus) in Accounting or Economics or Finance related or above 
  • Total 10 years working experience with 5-7 years’ experience in Sales or Business Controlling
  • Possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skill (locally & internationally) 
  • Strongly demonstrate high ability in analysing financial and business KPIs.
  • Have Business Acumen, understand the dynamics and pace of FMCG businesses. 
  • Able to provide insights and executive summary to executives.
  • Willingness to drive change throughout the organization 
  • Passion to drive the results and make differences to the business
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS.Excel and MS. Powerpoint
  • Knowledge in Power BI is a plus
  • Experience in using SAP
