To strengthen further our growth, we are looking for a dynamic & people oriented Field Sales Manager. 

Your main purpose will be to lead, coach and develop your field sales team (10 direct reports located in Belgium and Luxembourg) and ensure overall Net Sales & Market Share targets as well as activation targets are met while developing sales with regional customers. 

Main responsibilities will include: 

  • Adapt & steer the implementation of the national sales action plan:
  • Define challenging objectives for the field sales team, track progress and take corrective actions if necessary
  • Develop visit checklist & define focus topics per sales cycle
  • Communicate & clarify the sales cycle activations and targets 
  • Encourage your team to seize all business opportunities, collect & share information from the field that may impact the results

Manage & develop your team to ensure results achievement:

  • Develop each person according to personal strengths & development areas and follow-up by analyzing individual performance progress and conducting field coachings
  • Drive open communication, celebrate successes and use failures to draw positive lessons and encourage exchange of best practices;
  • Act as a people oriented role model for the team by living the Beiersdorf core values & ensure compliance with internal guidelines (HR, compliance trainings,…)

Sales development: 

  • Build negotiation strategy for local and private groups with support of Key Account Team
  • Support & coach the team before and during annual negotiations with local small and private groups 
  • Ensure information flow between field sales & office team and collect & share interesting insights
  • Proactively make operational recommendations to increase efficiency in the team.

Your Profile

What it takes to join us? 

  • Bachelor or Master degree (or other relevant degree) in Business – Sales – Pharmacy - …
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Field Sales experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience, ideally with Field Teams
  • Profound knowledge of the Belgian Pharmacy Market
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) in Dutch, French & English
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to combine a result oriented focus with a strong focus on people development
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, customer focus, good at building relationships 
  • Strong mental & change agility and a winning mentality
  • Willingness to travel to different Belgian regions 1-2 days / week
