To strengthen our Benelux Customer Operations Team, we are looking for a Supply Chain Intern - 6 months (January 2025).

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will mainly support the Belgium Customer Operations Team (responsible for Customer Management, Customer Collaboration & Customer Logistics) to reach a truly customer centric mindset. You will equally work closely together with Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics, VAS, Quality, Finance & the Commercial Department. Close collaboration with the NL colleagues to share best practices & align ways of working will also be part of your tasks.

During your internship, you will get a deeper understanding of the entire responsibility of a Supply Chain Department. You will learn how a Supply Chain Department of an international company works and gain practical knowledge that will be extremely useful in your field in the future.

Areas in which you will get a deeper understanding & where we are also looking forward to your latest theoretical insights, are, for example:

• Service Level & Efficiency (Cost) Improvement
• Customer Management / Collaboration
• Stock Management and Delivery Coordination & Optimization
• Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Process Mapping & Improvement
• Systems, Tools & Reporting
• Logistics (Warehousing & Transportation)

Your Profile

What it takes to join us? 

• Finishing your Master’s degree in Supply Chain and/or Operations Management;
• Available for 6 months as of January 2025, 5 days a week;
• Excellent fluency in English. Knowledge in Dutch and/or French is considered a big plus, but is not mandatory;
• Interested in starting a career in FMCG;
• Excellent Excel skills and are IT literate;
• Strong analytical skills, solution oriented, pragmatic but with the right attention to details;
• Proactive and collaborative personality with strong communication and social skills;
• You enjoy working cross functionally
