Role Purpose
- Develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan aligned with all stakeholders through the S&OP process.
- Identify and manage exceptions and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.
- Manage the Supply Network to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that also takes into account the distribution costs.
Your Tasks
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage portfolio lifecycle, such as new product launches, packaging changes, phase-in/phase-out, and product discontinuation.
- Generate and maintain statistical forecasts for inputs into S&OP and ensure plans are maintained in the relevant SAP Demand Planning modules.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive effective S&OP process to reach consensus demand plan both locally and regionally.
- Manage the information flows from sales and marketing via regular meetings in order to identify by product the underlying sales trends and incorporate the effects of promotional activity and advertising activity on that sales volume.
- Represent Supply Chain in launch and re-launch process.
- Analyze and evaluate the supply plan to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and supply constraints.
- Establish stock policies for Finished Goods.
- Support supply planner in the process of alert monitoring, inbound scheduling and securing a good stock availability as well as escalate to resolve bottlenecks.
- Maintain and monitor an appropriate safety stock level by article.
- Determine key issues with volume variance that may impact supply, and highlight to Hubs by - challenging existing Logistics and Supply Planning processes and tools -implementing improvements to deliver tangible benefits (e.g. time savings, increased efficiencies, customs penalties avoidance etc.) - monitoring requirements evolution.
- Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information - Highlighting all supply issues -Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade-offs ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with the Business targets.
- Challenge 3PM on regular basis to manage lot sizes, cycle times and R&P inventory levels, to drive optimum FG inventory level.
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelors from an accredited university with a focus on Commerce, Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Supply Chain experience in Demand and Supply Planning roles.
- FMCG experience preferably in a Manufacturing environment and regional exposure preferred.
- Hands on with SAP Demand and Supply Planning modules.
- Attention to detail and rigorous accuracy.
- Strong command on Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
