Your Tasks

Role Purpose: 
 
We’re looking for passionate and self-directed individual that is passionate for data and fact-based rationale to lead the development of CMI team, this includes but not limited to inhouse analytics, BI visualizations and market conduct research studies to contribute with insightful proposals to marketing team strategy and tackle core business needs.

 

Main Accountabilities: 

  • Synthesize and connect multiple sources of data into coherent and actionable output, with analytics, data visualization, dashboard reporting. 
  • Create accessible tools to improve the decision making for multifunctional teams - from pulling data & insights to standardize and simplify the information and create different visualizations like dashboards to make recommendations. 
  • Serve as a data expert and be able to effectively translate any insights into strategy  
  • Promote data-informed decision making in the marketing team 
  • Maintaining and owning existing data pipelines/dashboards; ensuring accuracy and data quality 
  • Manage budget, partnership and relationships with the data suppliers and market research vendors 
  • Collaborate with regional insights function on key regional/global initiatives, and market research planning whenever needed 
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's data and analytics strategy to maximize impact on revenue growth and profitability 
  • Utilize a statistical approach to analyze and standardize business needs and lead the design and implementation of inhouse analytics and governance solutions. 
  • Use Power BI or another professional statistics toolset to aggregate relevant marketing and sales performance data and compile statistical analyses of business performance. 
  • Help the commercial operations team ensure we are focusing on the high value opportunities that drive profitable growth while ensuring the positive share. Diagnose and track the category/market combos that allow us to gain share across categories and territories 
  • Use fact-based, strategic approach to identify the insights, strategies, and leading-edge solutions to boost local/granular strategy, with actionable levers. 
  • Make suggestions to the Brand team to optimize their plans instore using the ‘instore drive plan’ to steer when media should be executed 

Your Profile

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


Education 

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mathematics, Statistics 
  • Advanced English  
  • Masters in BI or Data analytics is a plus 


Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Market Analyst, Researcher, Data Analyst or a similar role 
  • Evidence and fact base-minded and results-focused with experience in working with retail sales data or similar  
  • Experience in using sales data base, RMS tools (such as Nielsen, Kantar). 
  • Strong ability to interpret results connecting the dots and provide insights 
  • Bringing in outside in perspective and has eyes on the ground to come and give feedback to ops and strategy team on market activities, macro-economic trends, and competitive intelligence. 
  • Understanding of different analytics trends like predictive models and AI/ML is a plus
