Your Tasks

Role Purpose:
Steer S&OP process in order to ensure high forecast accuracy and consistent supply of goods. Ensure planning excellence by steering and developing the local planning units and organizations. Ensure optimal Service Level to customers through continuous review of demand, inventory and transit to the warehouse.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Baseline forecast calculation through statistical modelling and business levers indicators (inventory in trade, sell in / sell out ratio, market size and share projection).
  • Support execution of PIPO plans (phase in phase out) in launch projects;
  • Incorporate inputs from all business areas into a single demand plan based on building blocks methodology.
  • Lead meetings with other involved areas in order to reach a consensus forecast for each product category.
  • Assess product availability risks and coordinate mitigation actions with other areas, including channel prioritization agreed with Sales team.
  • Collaborate with CoE/Supply Planning teams in order to ensure optimal service levels and agree on mitigation actions for availability risks.
  • Coordinate actions in order to decrease/deplete critical stocks in order to minimize impacts in inventory write downs.
  • Coordinate with multifunctional areas data such as sell in, sell out and trade inventory projections in order give visibility and steer actions to close business gaps.
  • Responsible for the following KPI: Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Service Level, Inventory and Waste

Your Profile

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Engineering/Administration University Degree or comparable
  • Strategic thinking
  • Analytical skills 
  • Results Driven
  • Knowledge of Planning theory and practice
  • Excel Intermediate (Formulas and Pivot tables)
  • 4 years experience in demand planning areas 
  • English fluent.
