The department Supply Chain in Beiersdorf IT supports and consults the business units and corporate functions of Supply Chain Management as a proactive business enabler. The team Supply Chain Planning is the competence center for IT solutions around Supply Chain Planning. We are involved in all phases of software life cycle: definition, design, development, implementation, and maintenance. For that we take over functional as well as project management task in projects and possess ownership of IT systems.
You contribute in the definition and realization of the target architecture within our cognitive planning program. You build trusted partner relationships with our business, know the framework conditions, processes and exhaust technical possibilities with having an eye on future trends and IT capabilities.
You work in agile Teams and bring solutions to a global level. You are enthusiastic about what we are doing and know that best results are achieved in a Team - so that the company journey succeeds.
Your Tasks
- Drive and implement full life cycle concepts for production planning and detailed scheduling
- Support our business colleagues to write User Stories and translate them into IT requirements
- Take an active role in implementation projects as consultant or (sub)-project lead based on OMP system in Beiersdorf companies worldwide
- Collaborate and monitor external partners
- Perform incident and change management process according to ITIL principles
- Act as a technical expert and collaborate closely with project leads, business partners and other functions like logistics, production, BI & master data
- Plan activities associated with implementation and maintenance of the application(s)
- Contribute to testing, debugging and documenting application(s)
- Assure technical documentation according to standards
- Communicate key results to customers in verbal and written formats
Your Profile
- University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in working on complex and agile IT projects
- Preferably experience with the implementation and operation of planning systems, like
- OMP
- SAP APO
- Good knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4 HANA systems
- Profound knowledge of production planning and detailed scheduling
- Team player with analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex matters
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both IT and business counterparts
- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on business value generation
- Structured and target-oriented working style, assertiveness with clear focus on rapid implementations
- Fluency in English is a must, German language skills is a plus
