The Category & Shopper Activation Manager will lead the development and execution of Category Management processes and strategies for our mass market brands in Denmark. This role is pivotal in implementing, analyzing, and monitoring financial performance metrics to facilitate informed business decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive category growth and enhance our presence in the market.

 

This is a Fixed Term Contract 9 - 12 months.

 

 

Your Tasks

Category Strategy Development

  • Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive category management strategies that align with Beiersdorf’s overall business objectives and market trends.

 

New Product Launches

  • Implement a strategic approach to launching and monitoring new product development and effectively manage the complexities of bringing the new products to market.  

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate performance to ensure the product meets consumer needs and achieves business objectives, ultimately leading to long-term success.
     

Financial Performance Monitoring

  • Implement and analyze financial performance reports, identifying key insights and trends to support strategic decision-making and optimize category performance.

 

Shopper Activation Planning

  • Develop and execute shopper activation plans that enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement across various retail channels.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on category strategies and execution, fostering a collaborative environment.

 

Market and Consumer Analysis

  • Conduct thorough market research and shopper insights analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the category.

 

Performance Tracking and Reporting

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of category and shopper initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize performance and achieve business goals.

 

Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and present reports and insights to key stakeholders, facilitating discussions on category performance, shopper trends, and strategic direction.
     

Your Profile

  • 2-4 years professional experience in category management, marketing and/or sales
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Good presentations skills
  • Good communication Skills 
  • Strong team player
  • Able to work quickly and accurately
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally and lead cross functional teams
  • Strong project management skills
