Your Tasks
- Lead the planning team by providing strategic direction based upon Management Unit and Regional/Global SC objectives
- Strategically and tactically steer the overall SC objectives through KPI/PI delivery (Service Level, Days Inventory Held, Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Share of Good Stock, Master data Accuracy)
- Standardization of work practices across the planning categories to ensure business continuity
- Establish and maintain exchange across Planning Communities (i.e. Planning Managers in other MU’s, Regional and Corporate Planning and Master Data functions and key Production Centre contacts
- Workflow/system approvals for airfreights, Product Left overs costs, and stock Purchase order second approvals
- Develop strategy which drives continuous optimization and improvement within Planning function to align with future SC and Commercial needs of the business
- Actively participate and provide leadership within category teams to drive sales, market share and GM
- Building strong relationships and collaboration with PC’s to drive efficiencies and optimization through the end to end supply chain. This includes review of production frequency, lead times and ICP optimization
Your Profile
- University or similar degree – ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related
- Min. 6 years of work experience in a corporate environment – ideally in FMCG, ideally in Supply Chain or S&OP related functions Operational experience in end to end Planning (Demand, Supply, Replenishment, Production)
- Profound understanding of S&OP, Supply Chain Planning and Master Data principles and standards
- Good understanding of FMCG and Retail industry is advantageous
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
- Working experience in SAP modules (APO/PE2/R3/S4HANA)
- High degree of motivation, initiative, thinking ahead and driving results
- High capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written/verbal and communication skills
- Ability to actively impact and convince others at different levels in the organization
- Ability to work in high pressure environment with strong resilience
- Leadership and people development skills - Prior experience leading teams
