Your Tasks

At Beiersdorf, we are committed to enabling digital transformation across our organization. Our “Process Automation” team is a trusted partner to all business functions. As such we enable their digital transformation by implementing end-to-end solutions to digitalize, automate and optimize business processes. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced “(Senior) Automation Developer” to join the team.
Being technology experts, we implement our solutions with humans for humans – partnering with fellow IT departments and digital business units alike is key to our success. Our team consists of highly motivated and experienced automation engineers from various professional backgrounds. As a team we own Beiersdorf’s automation, task orchestration and RPA platforms. We are part of Beiersdorf’s AI & Automation organization.

Your Tasks:

  • You develop digital solutions that contribute to automation of our business processes, from decisions taken in our Supply Chain to measurement devices used in our Research & Development, always keeping the human in the loop.
  • You engage with internal users to understand their needs, model business processes and design automation solutions.
  • You implement automation solutions on our automation platforms (e.g. RPA, no/ low code) and collaborate with developers from the applications and AI teams.
  • You are proud of your work results. That is why “You build it, you run it” in a DevOps setup.
  • Via reviews and pair-programming with fellow developers you ensure high quality of our code, documentation and compliance with our best practices.
     

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Computer Science or in a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of general process automation concepts: BPM, RPA, hyperautomation
  • Work experience with automation platforms like ServiceNow, AutomationAnywhere, UIPath, etc.
  • Practical experience in building and maintaining RPA solutions
  • Proficiency in one programming language like Python, Java or similar and work experience with APIs
  • Written and spoken English. German is a plus
  • Ability to work in a self-organizing environment and eagerness to continuously learn
