Your Tasks

At Beiersdorf, we are committed to enabling digital transformation across our organization. Our Application Development team is a trusted partner to all business functions, implementing custom (web) applications that make a difference to how people across Beiersdorf take decisions, access relevant information and pursue their daily work. We are looking for a passionate “(Senior) UI/ UX Developer” to join the team.
Our team consists of highly motivated and experienced application developers from various professional backgrounds spanning open source, Microsoft and SAP technologies. We are part of Beiersdorf’s AI & Automation organization.


Our tech stack:

  • Node.js, Vue.js, Python, Flask
  • Microsoft Azure: App Service, App Service Plan
  • Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Terraform

 

Your Task:

  • You engage with internal users to design both smooth user experiences and user interfaces that are the face of our digital solutions.
  • As a frontend developer you collaborate with other developers of our cross-capability product teams in building software solutions.
  • You further develop our UI standards and templates, ensuring adherence to Beiersdorf’s corporate design.
  • You are proud of your work results. That is why “You build it, you run it”.
  • Via implementation of tests, code reviews and pair-programming with fellow developers you ensure high quality of our code, documentation and compliance with our best practices.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Computer Science or in a related field
  • Work experience in UX/UI and digital design
  • Practical experience with UI design and wireframing tools like FIGMA, Adobe Xd or Sketch
  • Practical experience with Node.js, HTML, CSS and Javascript frameworks like Vue, React or Angular
  • Strong general software engineering skills including DevOps and CI/CD
  • Written and spoken English. German is a plus
  • Ability to work in a self-organizing environment and eagerness to continuously learn
