Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for current accounts (accounts payable and accounts receivable) and support of monthly closings for designated European Beiersdorf companies
  • Self-reliant analysis and documentation of vendor/customer accounts
  • Contact for financial and tax auditors and external service providers regarding all topics in current accounts
  • Bank accounting (e.g. payment runs, cash allocation)
  • Posting of asset and inventory items
  • Active support of ongoing improvement of processes and systems in current accounting
  • Support international projects
  • Participation in training for local/new staff members, working students and apprentices 

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed apprenticeship (e.g. German “Industriekaufmann”) 
  • First professional experience in finance and accounting, especially Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
  • Preferably first experience with international accounting standards like local GAAP (e.g. HGB) and IFRS
  • Safe handling of SAP R/3 (FI/CO) and MS Office applications
  • Structured, analytical working method
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong interest in ongoing improvement of accounting processes and new accounting topics
  • Team spirit and initiative, international mindset
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese language, preferably basic knowledge of German
