Your Tasks

As our largest affiliate, the Germany Business Unit offers one of the most exciting and dynamic business environments within the Beiersdorf Group. NIVEA is the number 1 in the German skin and body care market. 
As Digital Media Manager Precision Marketing (f/m/d), you will conceptualize, implement, monitor, and optimize precision campaigns in close cooperation with our Data Analytics team.
Your goal is to communicate the right NIVEA product to the right consumer, at the right time, in the right channel, so that the multi-million dollar budgets deployed work more effectively and efficiently in the medium term.
In collaboration with our Insights Data Managers, you will work on smart audiences to optimize targeting and maximize our 1P data usage.
Using your own and third-party consumer data as well as response indicators, you will continuously manage and optimize our performance campaigns.
Your tasks in detail:

  • Development of business hypotheses for successful audience / asset / occasion combinations.
  • Identification of potential consumer data (internal & external) to drive campaigns.
  • Defining and measuring KPIs with which to optimize ongoing campaigns on-the-fly.
  • Strategy and plans to use and generate more as well as better 1st party data within the campaigns you manage.
  • Implementation of the campaigns together with our media service providers and partners on the basis of KPIs defined by you.
  • Ongoing campaign optimization of data, algorithms and assets based on in-market results.
  • Regular results reporting to brand & marketing management including recommendations for re-allocation of media budgets.

Your Profile

  • Completed university studies.
  • Several years of professional experience in digital marketing or media or data / business analytics.
  • Ambition and aspiration to be at the forefront of the data-driven marketing of the future.
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with an entrepreneurial flair for consumer behavior, preferably in the consumer goods sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of common digital tools: Google Tech Stack, DSPs (DV360, adform, The Trade Desk, Amazon), Data Management Tools (salesforce), Ad & audience Verification, FB Business Manager.
  • Honest human touch in dealing with colleagues and external partners, collegial team spirit and pragmatic, fast doer qualities.
  • Good communication skills - focused, simple, understandable, persuasive and action oriented in presentations and written documents.
  • Fluent in English and basic German or willingness to learn German quickly.
