Your Tasks

As an integrated member of Global Packaging Development, you will develop promising and strategically relevant materials and technologies and support their implementation and application with expert knowledge. You will evaluate renewable plastic materials and advanced recycling technologies for their applicability in cosmetic packaging.
                              
Your principle accountabilities:

  • In direction to accomplish our sustainability goals you represent the Global Packaging Development.
  • You connect Global Packaging Development Department with adjacent functions.
  • Within Global Packaging Development you act as a link between technology development and its implementation in specific projects
  • You leverage external resources to find new sources of ideas and technical solutions to ensure best practices and up-to-date materials knowledge.
  • Within projects with internal and external partners you steer and supervise activities.
  • You assure the coordination of all defined packaging development work packages regarding completeness, in time accomplishment, quality and costs.

Your Profile

  • You have a university degree in Chemistry or Engineering (e.g. Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering).
  • Minimum first years of relevant business experience in material research, packaging development or technical polymer/resins project management is a must
  • Experience in recycling technologies (e.g. chemical recycling, advanced recycling, mechanical recycling) is mandatory.
  • You combine creativity with analytical and scientific thinking.
  • Your negotiating and diplomatic skills help you to convince and motivate stakeholders, partners etc.
  • You have a self-motivated and results oriented attitude and you are a team player as well.
  • You show your communicative competence cross hierarchies and cross functions and you communicate fluently in English (written and spoken).
  • Intercultural competence makes you a fit for an international role in a global company. Work experience abroad is highly welcome.
