Your Tasks

The Regional Media Planning Lead EUNA is part of the Regional EUNA Media & Digital team. This role is responsible for delivering our regional integrated media & activation strategies and driving our digital excellence agenda. As a regional team we work in collaboration with our MUs to deliver cut through excellence in activation plans. This role will partner with MUs, media, digital, content and data & analytics as well as our category and brand teams to deliver one integrated activation process leveraging our marketing tools through an integrated media & content model. The role is accountable for continually develop and refine our integrated brand and precision media strategies for Beiersdorf. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Regional Media Excellence & Strategy Development:
    • Ensure strong and creative regional integrated activation strategy development across precision marketing and brand media in line with local market category and brand priorities
    • Deliver strategic regional audience strategy that deliver growth. 
    • Collaborate with regional & local marketing as well as e-commerce to ensure performance marketing is fully embedded in regional media agencies strategic planning and execution
    • Lead regional media & digital KPI setting and tracking agenda in partnership with the data & analytics team with the view to maximize media effectiveness and efficiency and overall media ROI
    • Drive and accelerate digital media excellence adoption by scaling fundamental media principles,  and breakthrough category communication strategies across digital channels
    • Upscale media & content integrated operating model across brands and markets with the view to optimize internal and external resources, as well as media investments
    • Upskilling within Beiersdorf of integrated activation strategy and planning in close partnership with markets, global media & digital teams and agency partners
    • Develop and deliver a best practice sharing agenda across strategy development and digital media
    • Foster innovation and creativity within global and local marketing teams and with media platforms
  •  Regional Media Relationships & Partnerships
    • Foster strategic partnerships with regional media planning agency teams
    • Foster strong media agency & digital/tech partner relationships in collaboration with e-commerce, IT, procurement and rest of the digital & media team regionally and globally
    • Contribute to the annual evaluation of strategic regional agency partners

To be successful in this role, it is required of you to have:

  • Experience in media management (10+ years) with strong understanding of media & digital functions at global, regional and local level
  • Experience in developing integrated activation programs at a global/regional and local level with specific focus on digital
  • Strong understanding of media buying and how this relates to media strategy and planning
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills and working in a cross functional setup in a matrix organization
  • Have an in-depth knowledge about the evolving media landscape and changes in consumer habits
  • Experience in managing external partnerships with agencies
  • Demonstrating excellent communication, strategic & analytical skills and thinking and a growth mindset
  • Fluent in English
