Your Tasks

In our team, in cooperation with international interfaces, you ensure the marketability and regulatory compliance of our cosmetic raw materials and products.
The environmental behavior and performance of the cosmetic ingredients is of particular importance to you.
                

  • Evaluation of cosmetic raw materials and formulations with regard to chemical environmental parameters. This includes e.g., evaluating the possible degradability or environmental toxicity of the ingredients.
  • Release of raw materials according to the environmental parameters in the internal approval process.
  • Observing and monitoring regulatory changes and trends allows a forecast for future regulatory developments and relevant environmental parameters. Within the team you derive proactive measure for the organization.
  • Participation in international expert groups at association level.
  • Support for the further digitization of the area of responsibility (e.g., internal and external databases, knowledge sources, data analysis)
  • Close cooperation with external partners, such as raw material suppliers or university groups, as well as internal partners from research & development, toxicology, and safety
  • Communication with external interfaces (suppliers, universities, test institutes)

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in natural sciences, preferably environmental technology, ecotoxicology, biology, chemistry, or technical/scientific career with several years of experience in the environmental field
  • Knowledge of international chemicals law is an advantage
  • Experience in project management
  • Enjoy working in global teams
  • Strong communication and diplomatic skills
  • Structured, thorough, and independent way of working
  • Mindset, seeing and evaluating situations from the perspective of others
  • Fluent knowledge of English and German
