Your Tasks
- Drive Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA) and Systemic Toxicology approaches with a focus in toxicogenomics.
- Development, evaluation, performance and project leadership of non-animal testing methods and approaches with focus on next generation risk assessment (NGRA), systemic toxicology.
- Scientific bridge to Corporate Safety in Next Generation Risk Assessment process.
- Testing of sustainable raw materials, actives for assessing different toxicological endpoints, especially systemic toxicology and sensitisation effects.
- Analysis, interpretation, documentation and presentation of data.
- Participation, building and fostering of successful co-operations with external partners such as associations, institutes, universities, contract research institutes, consultants.
Your Profile
- PhD in modern non-animal-methods based toxicology with a strong background in cell biochemistry or biology or immunology or bioinformatics.
- Proven experiences in systemic toxicology are a must have.
- Expertise in developing non-animal testing methods.
- Practical experience in cell biology, cell biochemistry.
- Working experience in alternatives to animal testing approaches and methods, especially transcriptomics is a plus.
- Expertise in leading projects is a plus.
- High degree of flexibility and motivation, good analytical skills, and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluent in English and willingness to learn German.
- Good communication, team playing and presentation skills.

Hamburg/Germany is the primary location for this position. Therefore, we recommend residence in Hamburg.
Our company agreement allows basically up to 40% of the working time in a flexible work location in Germany. The exact arrangement of this agreement in the relevant team will be explained in a personal conversation.
