Your Tasks

Do you want to be an active part of transforming our entire IT department towards the usage of state-of-the-art based technology and reshaping processes? Would you like to gain insights on our digital transformation journey at Beiersdorf? Come and join the Cloud Competence Center as part of the Beiersdorf IT. We are a very young and highly motivated team which is responsible for providing the technical platform & processes to use cloud services all over the Beiersdorf Family.  As part of our team you will:

 

  • discover our cloud infrastructure and understand how to configure infrastructure and application landscape.
  • learn all about automated Azure platform management.
  • support the team & colleagues from other departments in continuously improving the existing platform with new services to realize a cost effective, scalable, reliable, and secure platform architecture.
  • consult initiatives to support their individual cloud projects.
  • support application and subscription owners in selecting the best cloud options for their needs based on cost and performance considerations

Your Profile

  • You study computer science, business informatics or a related discipline.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills with attention to detail. You approach tasks in a self-organized and solution-driven manner.
  • You have foundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts and a solid understanding of system design. 
  • You are passionate about software development and have hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Terraform or PowerShell.
  • You are a motivated team player who is fluent in English and enjoys communicating in different cultural settings with international project teams.
