Role Purpose: Manage the company´s financials, assuring the control of costs and margins. Develop a high performance controlling team in order to foster a collaborative environment within Beiersdorf and be able to meet (and exceed) company’s targets (financial indicators). Become a true Business partner for Supply Chain, supporting the leaders of this area in the decision making process, fulfilling the company´s defined strategy. To lead the company’s financial planning, coordinating all related activities from the functional areas. Manage financially all investments of the company, including feasibility analysis and implementation post analysis. Be the key financial leader and finance administrator for the legal entity. Report all necessary internal controls, leading internal and external audits.
Main Accountabilities:

Participate in the development of the overall business strategy, developing and implementing an aligned strategy for the finance/ controlling area and also the PC

Lead the Budget and Monthly forecasts, constructing a complete SOI/Financial Statement view.

Manage and plan the cashflow of purchases and investments, together with Treasury department.

Calculate and define the Intercompany Prices

Lead and/or participate in special projects and investments in order to ensure constant business development and seize opportunities that can help develop the business. Provide financial background/analysis to all business partners, including ROI analysis and product launch feasibility

Responsible for preparation, analysis and reports of production costs via analysis of latest forecast highlighting cost gaps versus plan and latest forecast, reasons for it as well as opportunities to close the gap; Responsible for preparation, analysis and reporting of PC SOI statements and Supply Chain both locally and to Group.

Ensure close monitoring of Fixed, Materials and other Costs, reporting them monthly versus plan and forecasts, and assuring any deviations are analyzed, treated and agreed by Business.

Responsible for the investment budget and control, assuring correct allocation, ROI analysis when necessary and depreciation impact for the result.

Contribute for the best tax strategy for the legal entity and assure adherence to tax and accounting legislation

Lead the internal controls of the legal entty, assuring the compliance with the company´s controls and also legal regulations

Lead internal and external audits
Leadership:

Guiding, motivating and developing the subordinated staff.

Prioritize compliance with the requirements related to Compliance, Safety, Health and Environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

University / higher education degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields;

At least 10 years of experience in Finance and Controlling areas, preferably in Manufacturing Companies

Highly numerical;

Highly IT literate;

Good conflict management skills;

Excellent communicator;

Team player;

Excellent at promoting change so it’s accepted by all;

Performance orientated, even in difficult environments.

Fluent in English, Spanish is a Plus
