Team Coordinator-Regional Technology & Process Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer

YOUR TASKS

The “Team Coordinator-Regional Technology” is a pivotal role within the organization, ensuring that teams operate efficiently and effectively. He/she will act as first point of local contact for the Technology team & partner functions for any functional or administrative topics while also leading his/her technology projects in the respective capacity as a Process Engineer or a Fill & Pack Engineer always in close collaboration with the respective Functional manager Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administrative line manager for the team Process Engineers, Pilot Plant & Mechanical Engineers.
• Manage business travels, vacations, reimbursements, SRM purchasing orders for the team.
• Key anchor point for the Technology Manager for all Regional Team related topics.
• Strong bridge of communication between the team, stakeholder functions and respective Functional Technology manager to maintain the right level of information and update at both ends.
• Surface escalations & support resolutions in close collaboration with Technology manager and relevant teams & cross functions
• First point of local contact for the Technology, R&D, PC & DC teams.
• First point of escalation for topics from Technology projects & Regional pilot plant.
• Facilitate communication & co-ordination of tasks for the team with partner functions as a liaison between the team and other departments.
• Lead individual projects in his/her capacity as a PIE or ME for regional/global projects as per the scope.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• A bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, a degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
• Strong background with hands on experience on hardcore processing technologies for skin & personal care products.
• Detailed understanding of end-to-end innovation process from pre-development to serial production.
• Experience in project management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fluent English skills required, other languages are a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage complex schedules and resources.
• Problem-solving ability to propose innovative solutions in the face of challenges.
• Proven track record of stakeholder management & functional leadership.
