Your Tasks

1. Implement analytical testing to support packaged stability evaluation

Responsible for implementing instrumental sample test and analysis about product stability with algorithm assistance. Keep the awareness to ensure the accuracy of testing result. Documentation work, such as analytic methods, operating procedures, and other related technical documents.

2. Fulfill cosmetic RM and formular general physical and chemical properties testing. Such as rheology testing/foam testing, closely cooperate with formulator to fulfill relevant foam evaluation.
3. Testing methods development & innovation

Take role in developing new testing technologies and methods in accord with the needs of IIM and prototyping project. Responsible for the acquisition of information, the establishment and maintenance of contacts in the projects with supplier and other institutes outside Beiersdorf.

4. Equipment maintenance and laboratory safety

Responsible for the daily maintenance of stability testing equipment, including internal maintenance and chemical management. Responsible in the working field for the safety of the necessary laboratory facilities and, if necessary, inform the superior about indispensable measures. In charge of maintenance, occupational health, and safety, as well as personal protection measures in consultation with the superior.

5. Development in Knowledge

Be familiar with regulatory changes and restrictions in the field of test technology. Observe the development of trends in cosmetics, absorb and widen professional knowledge with initiative by periodically reading literatures, database research as well as participation in professional conferences and seminars in coordination with the superior.

Your Profile

 Minimum Master with 1 year or Bachelor with 3year experience in personal care, pharmacy, or food industry working on physical and chemical analysis. Cosmetics industry experience is preferred.

2.  Bachelor above with polymer, physics, or chemistry relevant major.

3.  Better to have operational experience of lab physical and chemical instrument, such as rheometer etc.

4.  Cross culture communication ability, conscientious and responsible.

5.  Fluent in written and verbal English

6.  Team worker and passionate in innovation

7.  Good at MS-Office software
