Your Tasks

The Automation engineering leader will drive the development, implementation, and management of automation strategies to enhance expansion projects success criteria. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, senior stakeholder management and leadership to drive automation initiatives across the organization. Must collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design solutions, and oversee their execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the automation engineering team.
  • Coordinate the team to ensure business priorities execution
  • Administrate projects budget
  • Define the strategy for automation topics during the lifecycle of projects in all plant areas.
  • Define and coordinate strategies for implementing changes in automation systems to ensure production continuity, process quality, and personnel safety.
  • Lead decision-making on critical automation issues
  • Engage local and global teams through the different project lifecycle
  • Define the design criteria for control systems from the field level to integration with the ERP based on global, local, and corporate standards.

Your Profile

Desired Academic Background:

  • Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or similar.

Desired Experience:

  • Project Management
  • Team leadership
  • Engineering projects

Desired Technical Knowledge:

  • Leadership techniques
  • Cosmetic, pharma or food manufacturing processes 
  • Digitalization and industry 4.0 tendences
  • General industrial automation knowledge
  • Project management methodologies
