Role Purpose
The position of Business Controlling Manager is designed to lead Finance Controlling team and support Finance Director on ad hoc projects / assignments.
Main Accountabilities
- Excellent business partnering to support business growth by providing financial insights, solutions, and decision making.
- Actively engage in planning process (Annual budgeting and Cycling updates) and work with Marketing / Sales / S&CM team to ensure alignment between business strategies and execution.
- Close oversight on closing activities to ensure financials are correctly reflected in compliance with the company policy.
- Ensure Compliance in overall Budget management (TTC and MB) and RCM_O2C process.
- Local Governance Owner from Net Sales to Margin II/CC II, defining processes & standards in close collaboration with cross functional teams and drive investment effectiveness & efficiency.
- Able to independently perform financial evaluation and work with related parties on business initiatives, e.g. new product launches, product promotions and ad hoc financial analysis per management’s request
- Continuously to enhance efficiency in Budget Management Process via standardization, simplification, and automation.
- Finance Lead for all Digitalization projects, develop and maintain financial models using Microsoft Power Pivot and Power BI to analyze and interpret complex data sets; design data visualization solutions that enhance the accessibility and usability of financial information for stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage complex business issues, projects, and processes.
- Support Finance Director on ad hoc projects / assignments.
- Provide training and guidance to business partners on finance basics and operation procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- University degree, preferred in Business Administration or equivalent with major in Finance, Controlling and/or Accounting
- Minimum 10+ years related experience in Business Controlling / Financial Planning and Analysis
- Proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Power Pivot & Power BI
- SAP experience is a must
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and business partnering skills
- Strong analytical and presentation skills, able to deep dive on numbers and provide insights for decision making.
